IEP/Goal Preparation This is designed to provide families
with additional help selecting goals for their child to be included in a
school education plan. One 2 hour observation and one family consultation
is included. This does not include attendance at the IEP meeting.
Attendance is billed at the hourly consultation rate.
Parent training (half day) Understanding the principles of a
behavior modification program for children with any behavioral issues is key
to the success. We offer services designed to teach parents how to choose
behaviors for change and the fundamental techniques to implement incidental
teaching and behavior change in the home.
Assessment Developmental Observational
Checklists, Developmental Assessment of Young Children and an exhaustive
Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills are among the testing that
is provided for families either to begin a program or as assessment for
other decisions concerning young children. Additional testing may be
available to suit individual child and family needs.
Consultation (hourly) A consultation is time set aside for
families to discuss behaviors, goals, implementation techniques and other
issues pertinent to their child's’ progress. Consultations are required to
begin a program and throughout the program. Frequency is dependent upon the
number of hours of therapy the child receives. Phone consultations may be
scheduled if there are location and/or time constraints. Phone
consultations are billed at the same rate.
Observation Report (hourly) School/preschool
observations are available in one or two hour increments. Often families
will request an observation to pinpoint any additional need for
services/training for their child in the school setting. Observations will
be followed with a consultation and the fee will be added to the length of
the observation. Observations are done on-site and may include video
reviews of additional therapies.
